JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • The IT Specialist will provide support and guidance to users experiencing technical issues relating to computer hardware, software, and peripherals.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Installing new software and hardware components.
  • Regularly evaluating our IT systems to ensure they meet the necessary demands.
  • Assisting with network administration tasks.
  • Ensuring data storage is safe and secure.
  • Resolving all issues employees have with their IT systems and software.
  • Educating employees about network security and best practices for computer usage.
  • Supporting the day-to-day operations of our computer network.
  • Provides technical support and guidance to resolve users' computer hardware and software problems.
  • Maintains logs of support services provided in the ticketing system or other appropriate databases.
  • Develops training materials and/or provides onsite training as requested.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • With knowledge in Mac OS
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Thorough understanding of technology commonly used by clients and employees.
  • Ability to explain technical problems to non-technical employees.
