JOB DESCRIPTION:
As an Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the integrations between our different software applications and external systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, system administrators, and project managers, to ensure that data and processes are integrated effectively and efficiently.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Integration Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design integration solutions that meet those needs. This may involve creating data mapping specifications, defining integration workflows, and selecting appropriate integration tools and technologies.
Integration Development: Build and configure integration solutions using industry-standard tools and programming languages (e.g., RESTful APIs, Web Services, ETL processes). Develop and maintain code to ensure reliable and scalable integrations.
Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing of integrations to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and performance. Identify and resolve integration issues promptly. Create and maintain documentation for integration processes and configurations.
Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve integration issues, working with technical support and development teams to diagnose and fix problems promptly.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, prioritize integration projects, and communicate progress. Work closely with software developers to ensure that integrations align with application development best practices.
Security and Compliance: Ensure that integrations adhere to security and compliance standards, including data encryption, access controls, and industry-specific regulations, as applicable.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Related Work Experience – At least 2 to 5+ years of relevant experience
Proficiency in integration technologies and tools such as REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, and API management platforms.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Skills:
Programming skills in languages like Groovy, Google Apps Script, or Python.
Knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data integration patterns.
Familiarity with database systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
