Front-end Developer (Angular)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

•  The Front-end Developer (Angular) is a key role within the development team. It requires excellent development skills, applying best practices in UI design, and developing these designs into solid user interfaces using various technologies and frameworks such as CSS, HTML, JavaScript, NodeJS, Restful API, CI/CD, MySQL, and Angular.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Translate business requirements into detailed design and technical specifications
• Work closely with developers to develop frontend applications
• Work closely with the Marketing team to develop SEO/SEM strategies
• Prepare and execute unit test plans to ensure changes satisfy requirements and specifications
• Assist the QA team in performing integration testing
• Use customized Agile Scrum methodology for the SDLC process

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Essential Skills

• Must have strong organizational, interpersonal, and written/verbal communication skills and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities with a positive attitude and work ethics

Key Technical Skills

• Expertise in HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript
• Experience in using frontend frameworks and tools such as Angular, Typescript and NodeJS
• Experience in consuming web services (RESTful APIs)
• Experience in front-end build tools such as package managers (npm, yarn) and task automation (npm scripts, gulp, grunt)
• Experience in using development tools such as git and CI/CD
• Knowledge in maintaining and writing code using best practice

Preferred Technical Skills

• Experience with CSS preprocessors such as LESS, SASS, SCSS
• Experience with front-end unit testing
• Experience with Server Side Rendering or Angular Universal
• Familiarity with SEO/SEM strategies, tools, and analytics
• Knowledge of relational databases, preferably MySQL

Skills:

• HTML, CSS, Sass, Less, JavaScript, and TypeScript are the coding languages used to create client-side source code
• Frameworks for CSS and JavaScript
• Micro-Frontend
• Tools for testing and code analysis
• Security and Communication Protocols for the Internet
• Git/Version Control
• Angular CLI
